myWaive

Meet James, Founder & CEO of myWaive, who is challenging a financial advice model that leaves millions of people without the personalised support they need. His vision is to use technology to put regulated financial advice within reach of everyday savers, giving people greater confidence and control over their financial future.

Millions of people need financial advice, but relatively few can afford to access it. James, Founder & CEO of myWaive, is building an automated financial advice platform designed to help close that gap.

In this Impact Builder interview, James explains how myWaive aims to make regulated, personalised financial advice more accessible and affordable, helping people make better-informed decisions about pensions, investments and long-term savings throughout their working lives.

We explore the limitations of generic financial guidance, the opportunities created by changing regulation and technology, and how myWaive plans to reach underserved individuals through corporates, employee benefit technology providers and pension scheme providers. James also discusses the role of AI within a regulated environment, why independence is central to the business model, and the early market response to the platform.

The long-term ambition is for myWaive to become a financial companion people can use from their first payslip through to retirement, helping close the advice gap and improve long-term financial outcomes.
